Roles and Responsibilities

Oversees sales for all private events at The Clubhouse at Domaine Serene, Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Portland, Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Lake Oswego, and Domaine Serene Wine Lounge Bend, including BEO details and distribution, acting as client onsite contact when needed, and assisting with event setup and breakdown as needed.

Oversee event menu development in collaboration with Culinary and site Managers, create and update all guest-facing menus and collateral in collaboration with Marketing
Foster positive relationships with third-party vendors, including event rental, catering, and coordination of outsourced temporary staffing; manage events vendor set-up

Working closely with the DTC leadership team, lead event revenue forecasting and attendance goal setting meetings; utilize B2B sales and marketing to drive client acquisition to meet goals
Provide events’ invoices for review and approval
Lead wine movement coordination for private events

Winery Sponsored and Club Events

Manage calendar for all winery sponsored and club events, including reviewing dates and sending calendar invitations for internal teams
Working with DTC leadership, advise on events budget during annual budgeting process; adhere to department owner budgets for events and exercise expense management whenever possible
Manage hiring and training for Domaine Serene events staff and lead events staff, including Events Ambassador, seasonal events staff, and third-party staffing employees
Act as lead for event coordination, including product event memos, SKU creation/audits, wine movement coordination, event setup and breakdown as needed, and event closing (includes order reconciliation and Order Type audits)
Work closely with marketing department to manage invitation schedule, event collateral, and website updates

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Communicate effectively with Sales, Production and Staff using open, professional dialogue and solution focused communication; communicate management decisions positively and with support.
Actively seek information on companywide business.
