Certificate III Carpentry Course

This extensive program spans over two years and equips students with the fundamental skills required for a career in carpentry. It encompasses the installation, construction, and repair of various structures along with an understanding of the necessary tools and materials. An IELTS score of 5.5 Overall with at least 5.0 in all bands is mandatory for admission, while the total course cost amounts to AU$34,600 at TAFE South Australia.

Certificate IV in Building and Construction (Building)

TAFE WA provides a one-year course that does not require work placement. It serves as a pathway to further education or careers in joinery or carpentry, equipping students with skills in site planning, supervision, and scheduling. The program covers building codes and standards, as well as reading plans and contracts. The cost is AU$14,260 and an IELTS score of 5.5 Overall with a minimum of 5.0 in all bands are required.
